Appointment to the Palm Springs Human Rights Commission
On June 21, 2017 the City Council appointed Nicki Randolph to the Human Rights Commission for terms beginning July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2020. The Mission of the Palm Springs Human Rights Commission is to promote and protect the diversity of our community and to improve human relations through education and community awareness.
The Commission meets at 3:00 P.M. the second Monday of the month at the Palm Springs City Hall. Meetings are always open to the public and the Commission invites anyone with a human rights issue or question to speak during public comments at the beginning of each meeting.
Mentoring Cathedral City High School Students
Since 2015, Nicki has been a mentor to students in The Digital Arts Technology Academy (“DATA”), Cathedral City High School. DATA’s mission is to engage students in digital arts as a way to encourage them to graduate and to prepare them for post-secondary education and the work world.
